Appointment FAQ

What can I expect during my first appointment?

During your one hour New Patient appointment at Alleman Family Dental, you will have:

-A full tour of our office

-A consultation with Dr. Alleman, where you would voice any questions or concerns about your dental health

-A full set of x-rays (if you have any previous x-rays from another office, please send them to frontoffice@allemanfamilydental.org)

-Intra-oral images of your full mouth

-A comprehensive exam

 

I'm new to your office, can I come in for just a cleaning?

We require all new patients to schedule a one hour, New Patient Appointment. When establishing a new patient, Dr. Alleman likes to first get a full view of your dental health by taking a full set of x-rays and giving a comprehensive exam. This allows him more time than the exam that is given during a regular cleaning, and gives plenty of time for you to voice any questions or concerns you may have. After your New Patient Appointment, we will schedule the best cleaning for your dental health, and any other treatment that is helpful/beneficial to your dental needs. 

Are your offices accessible to patients with disabilities?

Yes, our office is accessible by an elevator in Atlas Towers. Please call our front office at 303-499-7133 for additional assistance.

Can my 17-year-old bring his 6-year-old sister to her appointment, or can I run an errand during my child's appointment?

We require any patient that is under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entirety of their appointment.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we love new patients and would be happy to have you! You can call our office during business hours, or schedule an appointment on our website.

 

Do you accept my insurance?

I am sick, can I still come in for my appointment?

If you are exhibiting any cold or flu-like symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to keep yourself and others healthy. We are happy to assist you in rescheduling.  

If something comes up, how can I cancel my appointment?

We ask that you give us at least two business days' notice by calling our office during business hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If it is within the two business days' notice, we will charge a $75 cancellation fee for hygiene appointments, or $100 for crown appointments. 

Financial/Insurance FAQ

Do you take my insurance?

We are currently in network with Delta Dental PPO and Premier. We accept all other insurances, as long as you have a PPO policy which allows you to go out-of-network. You would just be responsible for the difference between what we charge and what your insurance pays.

Can I make payments on my treatment?

We have many different payment options, and would be happy to discuss these options with you at your appointment, over the phone, or at your next visit.

 

I don't have dental insurance, can I still come to your office?

Absolutely! We offer an in office dental plan that covers cleanings, x-rays, and exams, and a discount on all other treatment. For more information, click here. We accept cash, credit cards (except American Express), checks, or Care Credit for any and all services. 

How much will I have to pay for my treatment?

At Alleman Family Dental we strive to provide our patients with the most accurate cost for treatments. We’ll provide a clear, detailed estimate on the cost of your treatment plan in writing so you know what to expect. On the day your treatment is completed, we will collect the estimated patient portion.
